This restrained wine integrates its firm acidity nicely, which provides a backbone for the hints of white peach, lemon curd, dried apple, ground white pepper and smoke. A bit shy today, but try with charcuterie or other light fare to open it up. Drink now through 2016. 3,000 cases imported.

A blend of 50 percent pinot noir, 30 percent chardonnay and 20 percent pinot meunier, this rosé includes 15 percent still red wine to deepen the color. It's cool and zesty, a contrast of fresh pink grapefruit and candied cherry flavors, all girded and focused by limestone acidity. A gentle rasp of earthiness comes up in the end, balancing and extending the fruit flavor. Pour it with Dungeness crab. Tri-Vin Imports, Mount Vernon, NY

A blend of the three Champagne grapes in roughly equal proportions has produced this balanced, soft and creamy wine. With a ripe dosage and a smooth texture, it is an easy wine. White fruits and light acidity make it attractive to drink now.
