Mixing crushed stone with lime zests and savory herbs, the 2022 Rosé makes itself known in the glass. This is soft textured with succulently ripe melon and berries. Saline minerals come forward towards the close. Its medium-length finish is impactful, leaving a slightly bitter tinge and the mouth watering for more.

Owned by Nancy and Jean-Paul Bignon, who also own Château Talbot in Saint-Julien, this estate is situated in the Var administrative department and extends over 30 hectares. The 2022 Cotes de Provence Rose, a blend of 27% Grenache, 28% Cinsault, 17% Syrah, 17% Mourvèdre and 11% Rolle, reveals a fruity, elegant bouquet with aromas of peach, pear, red berries, exotic fruit, wild strawberry and menthol. Medium-bodied, balanced and layered, it's fruity and fresh with lively acids and a mouthwatering, salty finish.

Full of perfumed fruit, this is attractively smooth with a light touch of tangy acidity. It is balanced and ready to drink.
